LEXANTARA: Journal of Law, Business and Investment

Privacy Statement

LEXANTARA handles author, reviewer and reader information only for the stated editorial and publication purposes. This notice covers authors, reviewers, readers, complainants and research participants where their data is processed. The legal operator’s details, privacy contact, hosting and processors, cross-border arrangements, lawful basis, retention periods for each record category and the request and incident channels will be added to this notice before the journal collects live submission records.

Use of information

Contact details collected for editorial work are not automatically used as a marketing list; any optional analytics or newsletters come with their own notices and controls.

Submitting a manuscript is not consent to unrelated commercial reuse, public disclosure, content mining of confidential files or AI training.

Confidentiality and security

The journal uses least-privilege access, secure accounts, controlled exports, protected backups and a documented incident process. It does not guarantee absolute security, or deletion from third-party systems that cannot be verified. Confidential manuscripts and reports are disclosed only for legitimate processing, consented review or proportionate integrity and legal obligations. Authors and reviewers must not circulate confidential editorial communications without permission except through a legitimate complaint or required process.

Records

A records schedule covering rejected or withdrawn submissions, accepted manuscripts, reviews, consent and permissions, integrity files, finance records and access logs will be published here with exact periods and deletion or review triggers. A justified investigation hold is documented and access to it limited. The publisher keeps a register of approved processors and discloses screening tools as actually used.

Policy version: founding draft 2.2 (2 November 2026), pending formal adoption.
